Apollo. The Final Flight. Submitted by "I've been using your Acrylic paints and I have now finished a painting in ProColour. I'm very happy with the result and the colours themselves. They are very versatile and dry nice and even. I use spray satin varnish to give a final finish which also adds a little more depth. This painting is on canvas, approximately 16" x 12" Hopefully this will show that they can be used for any subject, in this case Astronomy. " |

Submitted by "I painted this portrait of Ruby, my niece's dog, who lives in Holland, as a surprise gift. In the past I have always used pastel for animals but was so impressed with Linda's work at Patchings that I bought some ProColour on her advice and had a go. It is such a wonderful medium, so easy to use and the intensity of the colours is lovely and fresh. Having used acrylic a lot in the past I could tell the difference straight away. It was easy to blend and correct mistakes (easily covering dark with light colour) and not too quick to dry which gave me time to do delicate areas of shading such as the eyes and tongue of the dog. At Linda's visit last Friday to our Art Club I bought more colours so I can tackle other animal paintings. Eventually I hope to get a full range of colours as I shall be using this a lot in the future. |

They are easy to blend and the colours are so vibrant. I have also attended a couple of Linda's workshops, they are informative and enjoyable. Thank you Linda." |
